Good transport connections are incredibly important to local people in Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Moden and Motspur Park. Furtuer investiment in our networks remains a priority for me. I am delighted that we have new air-conditioned trains on the District Line and that the Northern Line has been ungraded with more frequent and faster trains. I am committed to a frequent and reliable local bus service and I will contineu tow ork hard to secure a better service on South West Trains and Thameslink, ensure that Crossrail 2 benefits us all and that Tramlink is extended.

Labour-run Merton Council are failing to keep our streets clean and tidy. I have had many complaints from constituents about this and have seen it myself, so I am working hard with your local Conservative Councillors to hold Merton Council to account for their failure and to seek considerable local improvements.

I want to ensure Crossrail 2 is delivered in the best possible way for Wimbledon, that minimises disruption as much as possible. I do not think their current proposals achieve that, so I encourage all residents to read and respond to Crossrail 2's current consultation.
