From Wednesday the whole of London will move to Tier 3 of the Covid restrictions.
This is not what any of us wanted to see, but cases and hospitalisations have been rising both here in Merton and across the city. I recently spoke with the Chief Executives of our local hospitals who confirmed this.
I know this will be particularly hard for the hospitality sectors and its supply chain, and I will continue to press the Government for further support.
